Overview

Brianna L. Ramos is an Associate in Lozano Smith's Walnut Creek office. Ms. Ramos represents public agency clients in a variety of labor and employment, student, and general education matters.

Experience

Ms. Ramos regularly conducts due diligence for client agreements to identify risks and ensure compliance. She prepares memoranda, conducts legal research, and develops presentations for client implementation. Prior to Lozano Smith, Ms. Ramos primarily advised clients on complex financings and business transactions, including drafting and reviewing term sheets and preparing securities law filings.

As a former teaching assistant for a global service-learning program, Ms. Ramos designed vocational curriculum for young adults with disabilities, and she developed programming for community workshops educating employers about the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities.

Education

Ms. Ramos earned her Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School and her Bachelor of Science from the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. During law school, she served as Senior Online Editor for the Cornell International Law Journal.
