Does FERPA or HIPAA apply to school-based mental health programs? Are all mental health services "confidential" or can the outcomes/discussions that occur during mental health sessions be shared amongst educational providers and/or parents? Can students consent to mental health services without parental notification? This presentation will address all of these questions and much more.
