A concise overview of Labor Negotiations in the California Public School Setting will be presented by some of California's most distinguished legal practitioners. The panel will discuss the information needed to prepare for negotiations, the considerations for selecting the negotiations team, and developing a conceptual strategy for the administration, the Board, and the community. The panel will also discuss the nuts and bolts of the negotiation process - mediation, fact finding, handling a strike, settlement, and managing the aftermath.
