Ms. Wood represents local educational agencies in various legal forums in California, including the Office of Administrative Hearings, state court, and federal court. This includes representing school districts in special education due process matters, appeals of OAH decisions, and appeals of expulsion decisions. She also supports litigation involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and wrongful termination.

Ms. Wood regularly attends IEP meetings, reviews assessments, advises on the 504 process, and ensures compliance at all stages. She also advises clients on student matters including discipline, student records, student fees, student health, and interdistrict transfers.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the University of Georgia and received the Mary Frances Early Scholarship Award.
