Quentin Cedar is a Partner in Lozano Smith’s Fresno Office. Mr. Cedar’s practice covers an extensive range of municipal and employment litigation.

Experience

With nearly two decades of litigation experience, Mr. Cedar has developed extensive expertise in the early evaluation of claims, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each case, and developing comprehensive litigation strategies tailored to achieve favorable outcomes for his clients. His experience encompasses every stage of the litigation process, from initial case assessment through trial and appeal.

Mr. Cedar has handled multiple appeals, including arguments before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and California’s Fifth and Sixth District Courts of Appeal. Earlier roles with the United States Attorney’s Office and the United States District Court further strengthened his experience.

Education

Mr. Cedar earned a Juris Doctorate from San Joaquin College of Law in Clovis, California, following a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. His academic journey was marked by accolades such as the American Board of Trial Advocates Memorial Scholarship, recognition as a semi-finalist in the George A. Hopper Moot Court Competition, and multiple Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence in various legal disciplines.
