Lozano Smith Expands Litigation Expertise with Addition of Senior Attorney in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA (February 22, 2016) - Lozano Smith, one of California's leading education and public agency law firms, announced the hiring of Mark W. Waterman in its Los Angeles office. Mr. Waterman, a coveted attorney with more than 20 years of experience, joins the firm's statewide litigation practice group with a focus on special education and labor and employment issues.

Mr. Waterman has had a high success rate in defending against numerous employment claims, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. In addition to being a litigator, he has experience as a mediator, serving for multiple years both as a mediator for the EEOC on employment disputes and as an administrative law judge, pro tem, for the OAH on Special Education disputes. Mr. Waterman received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis.
