Lozano Smith Attorneys Recognized as California Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

Fresno, Calif., (July 9, 2015) - Lozano Smith, LLP, a leading California education and public agency law firm, is pleased to announce that four attorneys from across the state have been selected by Super Lawyers Magazine as 2015 Northern California Super Lawyers and Rising Stars. Each year, less than five percent of the lawyers in the state receive the Super Lawyers designation, while less than two and a half percent of lawyers receive the Rising Star designation.

Louis T. Lozano has been selected for the tenth year by Super Lawyers Magazine as among the top five percent of attorneys in California. Mr. Lozano is a founding Partner of Lozano Smith which he began in 1988 with 3 other partners and which has grown to its present size of 77 attorneys in 9 offices in California. For the past 40 years, Mr. Lozano has focused his practice on representing California school and community college districts. He is recognized as an attorney who resolves difficult issues for his clients whether in labor negotiations, litigation or administrative matters. Michelle L. Cannon has extensive experience in board governance, labor and personnel-related matters, student discipline, and charter school facilities. She is a coveted speaker at conferences throughout California, and has been named a Super Lawyer since 2013.

Rosenbaum represents education clients from the firm's Fresno and Bakersfield offices, and he is co-chair of Lozano Smith'sStudents Practice Group.
