Lozano Smith Names New Partner

Fresno, CA, (January 7, 2015) - Lozano Smith, LLP, one of California's leading education and public agency law firms, has promoted Darren Kameya to Partner. Mr. Kameya, based in Los Angeles, joins 22 other partners throughout the firm's eight offices.

Mr. Kameya joined Lozano Smith in 2007 and has served as co-chair of the Labor and Employment Practice Group since 2010. Mr. Kameya maintains an extensive practice in all aspects of labor and employment law. Mr. Kameya also counsels employers on a wide range of issues, including: disability and leave laws, discrimination issues, discipline and termination matters, labor negotiations and measures to avoid litigation.

Mr. Kameya is also a frequently requested presenter on labor and employment topics throughout California.

Mr. Kameya serves as a pro bono arbitrator and mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court and volunteers for UCLA in various capacities. Mr. Kameya earned a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA and his J.D. from Fordham Law School.
