Lozano Smith Continues to Add Attorneys and Expertise

Firm increases its abilities across the board and the state with the additions of four attorneys.

Fresno, CA (May 21, 2013) - Lozano Smith is pleased to announce that it has added four new attorneys to its firm: Deborah Ettinger, Ashley Emerzian, Niki Nabavi Nouri and Ashleigh Rollins.

Deborah Ettinger has joined the Santa Rosa office as Senior Counsel where she will primarily represent school districts on special education, student and litigation issues. Ms. Ettinger has extensive experience on all matters relating to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, California special education laws, Section 504, administrative hearings as well as appeals in federal court. Ms. Ettinger received her Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School. She earned her undergraduate degree from University of California, Irvine.

Ashley Emerzian has joined the Fresno office as an Associate Attorney. She will assist clients on both municipal and education law with a focus on local government, litigation and labor and employment issues. Prior to joining Lozano Smith, Ms. Emerzian worked as a general civil litigation attorney. Ms. Emerzian earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree from University of California, Los Angeles.

Niki Nabavi Nouri has joined the Walnut Creek office as an Associate Attorney where she will specialize in the Labor and Employment and Student aspects of education law. Ms. Nabavi Nouri received her Juris Doctor degree from University of California, Berkeley School of Law. She earned a graduate degree from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and an undergraduate degree of the University of California, Berkeley.

Ashleigh Rollins has joined the San Diego office as an Associate Attorney where she will primarily represent school districts in labor and employment, special education, charter schools and student issues. Prior to joining Lozano Smith, Ms. Rollins worked for a firm that served as general counsel for many school districts throughout Southern California, principally advising on labor and employment matters. Ms. Rollins received her Juris Doctor degree from Chapman University School of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
