Title IX Coordinators and Administrators in higher education face an increasingly complex legal landscape, and one that continues to evolve. This three-hour training is designed to provide the tools and insights to Title IX Coordinators and Administrators at Higher Education Institutions that are needed to manage compliance effectively while supporting equity on campus.This training will cover a range of topics, including, the intersection of federal laws, such as Title IX, VAWA, and the Clery Act, reporting mandates under Title IX Clery, the intersection of Title IX and Title 5.
College-specific challenges, such as:
• Student employee considerations
• Jurisdiction on and off college campuses
• Emergency removal protocols
• Consent/Incapacitation
• Live hearing requirements and procedures
• Recent state legislative changes and their impact on institutional policies and practices
