Experience

Ms. Barker has experience across key areas of education law. She analyzes pupil records to draft motions, responses, prior written notices, and prehearing conference statements in support of due process proceedings. Ms. Barker also participates in resolution sessions and mediations to help school districts effectively resolve special education disputes.

Education

Ms. Barker received her Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude. While at Gonzaga University School of Law, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Research and Writing II and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with an emphasis in Peace and Security and a minor in Communications from the University of California, Davis.
