Education

Ms. Bras-Gonzalez received her Juris Doctor from UC Hastings College of the Law, in San Francisco, California where she was a Founders' Scholar, a UnitedAg Scholar and a California Bar Foundation Scholar. She was staff editor of the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal and Co-Political Chair for the UC Hastings La Raza Student Association, as well as the Co-Advocacy Chair of the Hastings Students for Immigrants' Rights. Ms. Bras-Gonzalez earned a Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo where she also received minors in Law and Society and Spanish. At Cal Poly she was on the Dean's List and part of the Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha.
