Lozano Smith Proudly Awards Three Scholarships as Part of Fresno State's Latino Commencement Celebration
Fresno, CA (May 17, 2013) - Lozano Smith is excited to congratulate three students from California State University, Fresno as the 2013 Latino Commencement Celebration/Lozano Smith scholarship winners. Jessica Rodriguez, Mayra Maldonado and Millie Medina were each awarded $1,000 for demonstrating a high level of excellence in education and desire to attend graduate or law school in the coming years.
The Latino Commencement Celebration is the largest event of its kind in the nation with approximately 10,000 attendees joining together in a celebration that recognizes the accomplishments of the class of 2013. "We're thrilled for the scholarship winners and the impact they've already made in their quest for continued education," said Andy Garcia, Executive Director of Lozano Smith. "We're also grateful to the University for allowing us to give back and support these future leaders in their endeavors."
