Dylan Marques is an Associate in Lozano Smith's Sacramento Office. Mr. Marques assists public agency clients in a variety of labor and employment matters.
Mr. Marques' experience is focused on serving California's public agencies on a variety of employment-related matters including the Public Safety Officers' Procedural Bill of Rights Act, Firefighters' Bill of Rights Act, and California's collective bargaining statutes. He represented clients in disciplinary matters, grievances, and critical incidents. Mr. Marques also has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, expert witnesses, settlement, and trial and arbitration work.
Mr. Marques earned his Juris Doctor degree with distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. During Law School, Mr. Marques was a primary editor of the Law Review, member of the mock trial team, and representative of the Student Bar Association. He was a Witkin Award winner for Global Lawyer Skills I & II Writing Classes, and Evidence. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History magna cum laude from San Jose State University.
