Brooke Bolton Tiutan is an Associate in Lozano Smith's Walnut Creek Office. Ms. Bolton Tiutan assists clients in a wide-variety of student, labor and employment, and facilities and business issues.

Experience

Ms. Bolton Tiutan has experience assisting with a variety of employment matters, including investigating discrimination and workplace harassment complaints. She has also assisted with conducting investigations into student Title IX complaints. Ms. Bolton Tiutan also has experience in reviewing and providing guidance to clients relating to various types of vendor contracts.

Prior to joining Lozano Smith, Ms. Bolton Tiutan worked as an associate at a family law firm where she represented private clients in all aspects of divorce matters and assisted in litigation. She is experienced in various aspects of civil law, has helped manage cases from inception, and has extensive experience conducting legal research and analysis. Ms. Bolton Tiutan has experience with drafting motions, complaints, trial and appellate briefs, and preparing extensive discovery responses.

Ms. Bolton Tiutan has worked for several organizations that assist homeless youth, as well as the Justice and Diversity Center for the Bar Association of San Francisco.

Education

Ms. Bolton Tiutan received her Juris Doctor, graduating with honors, from the Golden Gate University School of Law, and earned her Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Fresno. While in law school, Ms. Bolton Tiutan was a member of the Honors Lawyering Program, received the CALI Award for excellence in Practical Legal Writing, and the Witkin Award for Criminal Procedure and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
