Parent's rights are important and need to be acknowledged. Now, more than ever, some parents are seeking to review the content of school curriculum and books retained in school libraries. These issues have dominated board meeting discussions in many communities. Can parents opt their children out of curriculum that discusses LGBTQ+ issues or other controversial subjects?
