Polarizing speech is on the rise. On the heels of the Supreme Court's recent decision, in this workshop we will discuss the contours of employee free speech and exercise rights along with the right of school districts to regulate certain types of speech in the workplace. This high-level workshop equips attendees with a framework of legal considerations and support measures designed to collaboratively address sensitive topics. Attendees will leave with an understanding of employee rights to free speech and free exercise of religion in the workplace in the wake of Kennedy v.
