The interplay between workers’ compensation laws and state and federal laws governing medical and disability leave is complex but essential to determining the leave entitlement for an employee who has suffered an on-the-job injury.  We will discuss the various laws that may apply to an employee who has suffered an on-the-job injury, the employer obligations under those laws, and what to do when there are conflicting legal requirements.
