Home Instruction vs. Home Hospital Instruction – When is it appropriate to recommend out-of-school placement?
Is there a difference between Home Hospital Instruction (HHI) and home instruction? This presentation will discuss the apparent increase in requests for HHI/home instruction and the red flags raised by such requests. What do you need to do to respond to a request for HHI, or home instruction, in a manner that is legally complaint? Attendees will learn the pitfalls to avoid and the step-by-step approach for responding to an HHI request.
Legal & Practical Perspectives for Effective Mental Health Programs
