Bullying and Violence Prevention Summit

Bullying: How to Identify, Address, and Prevent
Event Single

Today’s school environment promotes inclusion and tolerance for differences in opinion, belief, and lifestyle, and prohibits discrimination, harassment, and bullying of students. Because the term “bullying” is often used broadly to describe any unpleasant interaction with others, districts are faced with more bullying complaints each year. School district officials need to know how to determine if bullying may have occurred, what to do when a bullying complaint is filed, and what can be done to prevent it from being repeated. This presentation will provide you with a legal update on student bullying, as well as practical and legal tips for prevention, identification and investigation of bullying.

This event is reserved for school district or public agency employees only. Please contact Client Services for more information.
