Please join us as we hear from our special education experts as they share the best practices and legal intricacies surrounding both Individual Transition Plans (ITP) and non-Individual Transition Plans (non-ITP). The presentation will discuss planning and timing for transition plans, transition services for both non-ITP and ITP students, and avoiding adopting the generic pitfalls of standardized ITP’s. This presentation will also address recent developments in the law and address concerns and questions related to transitional planning and student services.

Please join us as we hear from presenters who share legal and practical viewpoints regarding district responsibilities for addressing the mental health needs of general education and special education students. This “Food for Thought” series offers a unique workshop setting over lunch to collaboratively discuss trends in the area of youth mental health and review recent relevant developments in the legal field.
