Educational Technology is changing at a rate faster than ever - and often times student privacy issues get lost in the dust. To complicate matters, the fast pace of life in general has led to "click first and ask questions later." The consequences of all these advancements are playing out in the form of technology apps in the classroom, electronic communications between school personnel and with parents and students, as well as agreements with technology vendors, big and small. This presentation will include case studies of how to effectively balance technology and privacy in your district.
