Ms. Ruiz is Senior Counsel in Lozano Smith's Fresno office and assists clients with a wide-variety of Special Education and student issues, including; expulsion proceedings, IEP meetings, settling cases at resolution sessions and during meditation, due process hearings, as well as, ensuring compliance with Section 504 and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. This session will focus on the integration of student study teams, IDEA, Section 504, and child find requirements within a MTSS.This event is reserved for school district or public agency employees only.
