So often we receive questions about how students' behavior should affect placement and service decisions, how to balance the right to placement in the LRE with the rights of the other students to learn in an uninterrupted environment, when and how to assess behavior appropriately and when to utilize positive behavior interventions and when to turn to discipline. This table talk will focus on recent Office of Administrative Hearings cases addressing these questions, as well as recent changes in legislation regarding restraint. We will delve into these questions and more, exploring fact patterns and examining assessment requirements and intervention issues during this interactive session. This event is reserved for school district or public agency employees only.
