Join the California Latino School Board Association (CLSBA) in its efforts to support education in our community. Board members and policy experts will address, inform, share and act on issues that contribute to the educational disparity which effects our community's education.

Key Areas of Focus:

· Board Member Responsibilities
· Local Cotrol and Accountability Plan
· Implementing Proposition 58 and Benefiting Latino English Learner
· Data Walk by Ed Trust West

Key Objectives:

·Share strategies for implementing policies that better support all students especially Latino students
·Collaborate and discuss how districts can support students from low-income, or minority population
·Provide culturally safe learning enviroment for school board members
·Highligt available resources on the topics relevant to people of color
· Implementing Proposition 58 and Benefiting Latino English Learner
·Providing space for newly elect school board members to meet and network with seasoned board members
