Dealing with employees who have drug or alcohol issues can be challenging especially when those issues spill over into the work place. Especially with the advent of proposition 64 and associated use of marijuana, knowing what action you can or cannot take as an employer is critical. We will discuss these issues as well as tips and best practices for knowing when to bring in outside counsel or other outside help to address the issues.
